What is an EIT Success Story? Definition
An EIT Success story is a well implemented activity that has led to new products and services, discoveries, start-ups and scale-ups, new courses, excellent publications, new collaborations. Apart for third party testimonials and advocates, the stories must be complemented with relevant fact and figures. Very Important: An EIT success story should be promising and newsworthy, illustrate innovation in action and be well executed.
In short, a success story should meet the following criteria:
- PROMISING AND NEWSWORTHY
o Media appeal, i.e. Large impact/proximity, new, unique, address a global challenge, new product or technique or service, interesting person, addressing global challenges, creating jobs, generating growth…. - INNOVATION IN ACTION
o Tangible results
o Illustrate how the activity contributes to EIT Manufacturing 2030 goals
o Illustrate how the activity contributes to EUs new Industrial Strategy, the European Union Green Deal etc. - WELL EXECUTED PROJECT
o Highlighting EIT’s innovation model
